John B Naranjo

john naranjo

On Sunday August 28th, John was called home. He was Sixty-three. Born to Gloria Chavez and John Naranjo. Brother to Steve Naranjo, Bevan Luke, Joey Tafoya, Gabriel Naranjo and Michael Naranjo. Husband to Joann Antonucci. Father to Venessa Valdez and Chaz Valdez. Grandfather to Khimari Morey, Khiyana Morey, Stella Roque and Cheyanne Valdez.

Grown from small beginnings but exploded once living life. From long hard working days to fast nights in hot rods John never let up. Whether taking tickets or flinging mustard, John wasn’t afraid. Thinking he may have met his match when entering the electrical field, he never strayed from the line. From betting lunches to playing with live power, let’s just say John was nothing short from electrifying. Jack of all trades but a Master of electrical, problem solving was where spontaneous combustion happened for him. Memory like a steel trap and Joann never escaped his love. She stayed with him so many years even while in the Navy. John went searching in the daylight with a flashlight preaching how they would make amazing kids. Having finally seen the light they were parents and madly in love. John was not shy about his love for his kids as he poured his soul into them every chance he got. From using beans in mathematics to showing old school tricks with a carburetor, he instilled drive and determination. No matter the obstacles in life, John never let off the throttle and always found a way around while looking good. John was as confident as they came and never backed away from a challenge. From breaking bricks with his bare hands to pulling transmission he never backed down. Even in his old age of 60 years, his hair was on fire while running circles around 20 year old and not even losing a breath.
