The gift! The last two and a half years, I realize now, we're a gift. A gift from your Dad. He welcomed you home with open arms. I miss you both so very much. The past strengthens my faith, knowing you are together! Happy, healthy in eternal life. The past gives me the courage to move forward knowing God's got this. It has shown me to trust in him more, to let go of the wheel, to relinquish control. When your Dr told you that the cancer had spread throughout your entire body, I knew this day would come. She said to get your affairs in order. Your positive, unending belief and courage have inspired so many. I am so proud of you, all of your accomplishments, your knowledge and especially your sense of humor! You always thought outside of the box. Never afraid to risk it all. Always seeking to learn more, sharing with others, giving more than you will possibly know. And yet you often felt you were never enough. You felt judged. I told you many times how we admire and respect your decisions. Even though your life choices were not traditional. It didn't matter to me! I love you unconditionally! I have learned so much from you, I thought I was supposed to be there to teach and guide you, you taught me how to live with no regrets. To let go of past mistakes, to forgive and move on. Your beautiful spirit will live in all of us who were fortunate enough to know you. To take your advice whether we liked it or not. You always spoke your mind, never holding back. Yes, you were right about many things. No regrets. You loved deeply, you fought with all your heart and soul. May you be at peace, my beautiful, beautiful Daughter. Until we meet again, I am so very proud of you, thank you for letting me be your Mom.
