Jean Marie Rowley

Jean Marie Rowley, devoted Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 6th, 2026, at the age of 95.

Jean was born February 22nd ,1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Rapheal & Isabelle Frye. She was the youngest of eight children.

Jean attended college in Cleveland, Ohio after high school. Once she graduated, she returned to Milwaukee.
She worked for years at the Milwaukee County Children’s home for abused & neglected girls. She loved her job there & loved having the privilege to make a difference in these young girls’ lives.

On February 24th,1962 she married Garry Rowley. They bought their first house on Holt St. in Wisconsin. This turned into a hangout for everyone in the neighborhood.

In January 1968, Jean & Garry welcomed their son Robert. She was so thrilled to finally be a mother!

Then in April 1970, they welcomed their daughter Laura. This completed her family & world.

In 1978, the family moved to Lakewood, Colorado.

She worked long hours & all hours of the day & night to provide for her children, which she raised by herself. Although they didn’t have a lot, they were happy.

Her world changed again in May of 1987 when her first grandson Danniel was born.

In June 1989, she was blessed with another grandson, Benjamin.

Lastly, she welcomed two great Grandchildren. Tobias in 2012 & Alice in 2016.

Her life was complete. She loved her family more than anything. Nothing meant more to her than her children, Grandchildren & great Grandchildren.

We will miss her more than words can ever say.

Jean is survived by her son Robert and daughter Laura (Brent), two grandchildren Danniel (Hannah) and Benjamin. Her two great grandchildren Tobias & Alice. Proceeded in life by husband Garry, her parents & her siblings.
