Janet Madeline Taylor

Janet Madeline Bullock was born October 19, 1931 in 1931 in McCook, Nebraska to Albert and Emma Bullock. She passed away July 30, 2016 in Denver. She was one of 10 brothers and 3 sisters. Janet married Byron Taylor in 1950. She gave birth to 2 children Susan and Bill.  Janet worked at the Eastern Star nursing home for many years. She later worked for the Denver Public Schools as a cook in the cafeterias of 2 elementary schools.  Janet had many hobbies over the years from making candles, ceramics, doll houses, collecting coo coo clocks, garage sales, dabbled in photography, and her yard work. She loved her yard and garage sales!!  She also found time to care for all of us with meals and such, she was a great cook as well.  Janet loved her grandchildren, Ben and Jamie. Ben died very early while Jamie had a difficult life and died at the age of 30. Her daughter Susan also preceded Janet in death.

18 years ago, Bill and his wife Adriane moved out of the country and could only visit about one a year. Byron died just a few years ago leaving mom home alone where she struggled to maintain her lifestyle at her advancing age. Her sister Donna moved in with her and helped out a lot! With her sisters and brothers and in-laws, she helped keep a tight family. She also had many friends from her neighborhood who had lived there just about as long as she had. Janet is survived by her son Bill and his wife Adriane, 1 brother and 2 sisters and a host of other family members.  She was loved by all and will be missed by all!!
