Born in: Kansas City, Missouri
Resided in: Aurora, Colorado

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jane Ann Branch, affectionately known as “Janie,” on April 28, 2025, in Denver, Colorado. She was 72 years young.

Born on March 29, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, Janie dedicated her life to caring for others as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). A proud valedictorian of her nursing class, she approached her work with a deep sense of compassion, skill, and grace. Her kindness touched countless lives, both in and out of the clinical setting.

Janie’s joy was infectious. She loved to laugh, dance, and share stories with her loved ones. Her warmth and vibrant spirit brought people together, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Our lives were truly enriched by her presence.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Weaver Branch; her daughters, Amy Wold and Laura Knoll; her siblings, Steve Minckley and Rebecca Reid; her beloved grandchildren, Justin, Alicia, Elizabeth, and Lyla; and her great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Zoey, and Robert Jr.           Janie is now reunited in Heaven with her precious great-granddaughter, Neveah.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to an Alzheimer’s research foundation of your choice, in honor of Janie’s memory and the love she gave so freely.

Details regarding a memorial service will be shared at a later date.

    • Momma, Words cannot express how much I miss you. You were my one constant. You were always there to pick me up in my darkest moments. I imagine you up there dancing and singing in the clouds. I’m happy that you are no longer suffering, you now have a healthy mind and body. Selfishly I wish you were still here, I miss your smile, your hugs and your laugh.
It isn’t goodbye momma it’s i will see you again someday. You will be the 1st one I will look for.

  1. My sweet sister Janie, you were always a wonderful person. Kind and loving to everyone you would meet. I love and miss you today and always. May you be held in the loving arms of our Father in heaven. Save a place for me. Your forever sister Becky.
