Jane Andrene Thomas

Jane Andrene Thomas was born on August 15, 1956 and moved on in Peace on February 13, 2019.
Jane is survived by her husband Daniel Thomas, Sr. and her sons Nicholas and his wife Christa, Daniel, Jr. and his wife, Sara. Along with her eight Grandchildren: Zaak Thomas, Julia Thomas, Aiden Burtner, Tarren Burtner, Riley Thomas, Brody Thomas, Maddilyn Thomas, Maisen Thomas. Jane is also survived by her Brother, Micheal Acree and his wife, Arleen. Jane and Arleen were incredibly close and shared a true sisterhood relationship.
Jane is preceded in death by her eldest son, Clinton Thomas.
Jane was born in Aurora CO to James E. and Diana M. Acree on August 15, 1956. At the age of 10, Jane and her family moved to Parker CO, to raise their family with her older Brothers Dale, Kenneth and twins, Jack and Micheal. Jane attended Douglas County High School in Castle Rock CO with her life-long friends Chris and Lee Willis. In 1974, Jane began a new role as a mother when her eldest son Clinton was born, Nicholas followed in 1976. Jane attended Mike and Arleen’s wedding in December of 1976, where fate would have it and she met the love of her life, Daniel Thomas, Sr. They married shortly after
on May 7, 1977. Their family was blessed again later that year with a 3rd son, Daniel Thomas, Jr. (Bubba) and her life took a new beginning with her soul mate by her side and her three young boys.
Jane lived a great life raising three boys with her husband Dan. Jane was incredibly welcoming and generous by nature, with an ability to have fun no matter what the circumstance was. Jane was a true Colorado native and she loved all animals, especially her “wiener dogs” but her true passion was her love for horses. Jane taught her three boys that tenacity, drive, and a sense of humor was the way to win in life. Jane loved to spend as much time as possible with her family, keeping her relationships with family and friends true and lifelong. Jane was a true gift from GOD.
On February 13, 2019, Jane succumbed to her battle with cancer. Jane was surrounded by family and friends during her final moments, with that we know she was at peace.
Sorely missed but NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Celebration of Jane's life will be held at the Bullock Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.

Family and friends are encouraged to share stories and photographs of Jane here on her website (click "Tribute Wall" tab to access guestbook).
