Fuller, James Lee
Jim was born in Denver, CO on May 29, 1956 and passed away suddenly at his home north of Steamboat Springs, CO on June 19, 2006 at the age of 50. His parents, Marilyn and Kenneth Fuller reside in Littleton. He is survived by his parents, wife Carol, sons Spencer (Jessica) of Shoreline, WA, Jared of Steamboat Springs and grand daughter, Arianna, sisters, Cynthia (Monte) Cleghorn, Monte Vista, CO, Andrea (Jack) Brunton, Steamboat Springs, brother, Zan, Honolulu, HI and several nephews.
Jim enlisted in the U.S. Marines after graduating from Bear Creek High School in 1974. Upon his return to civilian life, he was employed by Combs-Gates Aviation at Stapleton Airport. He later formed a Company servicing privately owned aircraft. After moving to Steamboat Springs, he started a waste removal business serving the Steamboat Springs, Craig, Hayden and Oak Creek areas which he later sold to Waste Management. He then started a construction business, building homes in Steamboat Springs. His final venture was building warehouse spaces with owner residences.
Ever the optimist, he rarely saw a downside to any endeavor he under took. Always a joy to visit with and always had a project underway and a new one on the horizon.
He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Bullock Mortuary, 1375 East Old Hampden Avenue, Englewood on Saturday, June 24th at 2:00 P.M. with viewing from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
