JAMES D. GATLIN, 71 James Dawson Gatlin, 71, of Denver Colorado, passed away on March 4, 2015. Jim was born in Chicago, Illinois to Roy Gatlin and Dorothy Nelson on December 2, 1943. Jim was best known to family and friends as a generous, fun loving and humorous man, who loved his family deeply and also liked to play practical jokes regularly. Jim will be forever remembered as "Honest Jim" which he loved to quote whenever he was up to something...His trademark comment of 'Trust Me' will never be forgotten by the many people's lives he touched throughout his life. Jim's larger than life personality will truly be missed by all. Jim is survived by his wife Sharon, son Brian and his wife Lisa, daughter Rhonda and her husband Jeff and two beautiful grandchildren Madison and Dawson, sister Mary and many other wonderful family members and friends. May he rest in peace.
