Isaiah Chavez-Seppelt

isaiah chavez-seppelt

The third born son to Lila Chavez and Ken Seppelt. Isaiah was a beautiful soul. He struggled the first few months of his life and then exploded into a strong, vibrant, athletic child. He loved sports and his family.

Isaiah played football, baseball, and wrestled. He was proficient at many positions, made many memories traveling, and all you had to do was give him the greenlight. Isaiah was very competitive and thrived to be the best he could be.

But anyone that knows Isaiah knows there was no love bigger than what he had for his family. Spending time at home or on the field was his heaven; always comforting, loving times. A family tradition he kept was never leaving home without saying “I love you.” He valued spending time with his dad practicing, sitting and talking about his games, family, future, stars, and the universe. Really just about anything. His mother was his inspiration, working towards a dream they had together of opening their own store.

He would say she was the BEST cook ever, cooking his favorite (hamburger meat) into imaginable dishes but he would say soft tacos with her salsa and enchiladas would be blue ribbon winners if he were a judge.

His older brother Casey was his mentor, and his inspiration on the field. They were so competitive against one another. He loved playing with his brother. Isaiah would talk so highly of Casey as a ball player, but Casey would be the first to tell you about how his brother Isaiah was the BEST baseball player ever.

Isaiah was super protective over his sister Sadie. He enjoyed practicing softball with her and loved going to her games.

DionDre is the youngest sibling of Isaiah. They spent a lot of time boxing, playing football, and playing baseball. DionDre wants to be just like his brother Zaya.

He lost his older brother Joseph in 2018. This had a heavy impact on Isaiah, but now they are together.

Isaiah loved all his family far and near.

He is survived by his father Ken, mother Lila, sister Sadie, brothers Casey and DionDre, niece Adelina, nephew Isaac Jay, sister-in-law Nadia, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved brother Joseph.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. You left us far too soon, and the weight of your absence feels unbearable. You had so much life ahead of you: dreams to chase, memories to create, and love to share.

Itโ€™s hard to comprehend that someone so full of light and potential is no longer here. You brought joy to everyone who knew you, and your laughter had a way of making the darkest days brighter. You had a heart that cared so deeply, and a spirit that inspired us all.

Though your time with us was brief, your impact was profound. You taught us the value of kindness, the beauty of living fully, and the importance of cherishing every moment.

Weโ€™ll carry you with us always in our hearts, in our memories, and in the stories we share. The world feels a little emptier without you, but we take comfort in knowing your light will never truly fade. Rest peacefully, dear friend. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Love you forever Isaiah.
