Holly Jo Bouchie

holly bouchie

Holly Jo Bouchie was born in Denver on December 21, 1961, to
Patricia (Brown) Hudson and Melvin Hurley (Snuffy) Hudson. Holly
joined the Lord on June 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her
father Melvin Hudson.
Holly is survived by her beloved mom and dad, Pat and Tom Sladek,
sister Lisa (Alan) Voit, niece Jessica Beamer, nephew Mitch (Kim)
Beamer, Liz Rutledge and family, Allison Greer and family and her
many friends at the American Legion.
Holly had a servant's heart. She loved to give to people. She was a
food server in her early days, until lupus interrupted that path and
set her on a different one.
Holly was a warrior and fought this terrible disease long and hard.
She was funny, courageous and strong. She was a member of the
American Legion Post 178 Auxiliary where she had her family of
dear friends. When she was feeling good she was always ready to
lend a hand and often helped with breakfasts, lunches and special
events.
Holly's passions were her family, painting with her mom and
girlfriends, Bingo at the Legion, singing in church, and her loving
cat, Lucy. She also loved the Lord, with whom she had a personal
relationship.
Holly said she wanted to have her "thing" at the Legion she loved
so much, so a celebration of her life will be held Sunday, June 23,
2019 at 2:00 pm at the American Legion Post 178, 1655 Simms,
Lakewood, CO 80215.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to
the American Legion Auxiliary at the same address.
She will rest in peace at Golden Cemetery
