Grover William Hall, Jr.

Grover William Hall Jr, 69 of Centennial, Colorado passed away August 16th, 2013

He was born May 27th, 1944 in Lima, Ohio to the late Vincenta (Trakas/Eley) and Grover Hall Sr. He graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1962, went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and began work at Martin Marietta Corporation in 1968. He attended the Massachusetts's Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management 1978-1979, and graduated from MIT with a Masters Degree in Business Management. Grover worked for what is now Lockheed Martin for his entire career and retired in 2007 as Space Systems Company's Vice President of Engineering.

In his retirement he served on the Board of Directors for Littleton Hospital and The Maria Droste Foundation. He also provided his leadership to the University of Colorado at Boulder Robotics Club.

Grover is survived by his Brother Allan Hall, and his wife Mary Lee of Lima, OH, one child, Tonya (Hall) Ladwig of Highlands Ranch, CO, her husband Mark Ladwig and their children M.J. and Taylor. He is also survived by his life partner of 14 years, Pat Covalt, of Centennial, CO and her daughters Brandon and Heather Covalt, and granddaughter Jozie.

Grover's Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch, CO at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday August 24th. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Mile High United Way (Bridge the Gap and School Readiness Initiative) or to the Maria Droste Foundation.
