Glenna Peek
June 5, 1927 ~ November 16, 2018
After a brief struggle with cancer Glenna Fae Peek passed away peacefully on November 15, 2018, at the age of 91, in her condo at The Waterford residence. Glenna was born June 5, 1927 in Prague, Oklahoma. Glenna married her High School sweetheart, C.E. Loyd where they lived in Oklahoma until 1952 when Glenna, C.E. and their son, Greg, moved to Denver, Colorado.
It was in the year 1985 when Glenna’s first husband passed away. Then in June 1996 Glenna married William Peek, a kind, humorous and loving person who would become her second husband. Together they would venture out on many excursions exploring the world around them. Bill’s extended family welcomed Glenna into their homes and lives showing kindness and love. In August of 2012 William Peek passed away leaving a void in Glenna’s life, but the Peek family aided in filling that void, as did many of her other friends.
Glenna was the kind of person who would help in any way she could. Glenna felt she had lived a good life and was ready for the next phase of life. Glenna was an unselfish and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Englewood (3500 South Logan Street, Englewood, Colorado 80113) on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
Family and friends are encouraged to share stories and photographs of Glenna here on her website (click "Tribute Wall" tab at the top of this page).
Gleena was my Aunt and had I just seen her in August when I was in Golden for a class reunion. We were out again in 2016 and her and Greg fixed lunch for myself and my wife Jan. Always had a wonderful visit with Gleena she was a class act about everything in her life. Just miss her already knowing she is not there for me to call. Love visiting with her and hearing all the great stories that we shared about our family. We live in Indiana and would stay in touch with emails and she always love for us to share pictures of our Kids, Grandkids, and our farm. Will Miss you Glenna we love you. Would love to hear anything anyone could share about her. 812 797 4949

Glenna was my aunt on my mothers side. She was a very special person, always smiling and laughing. Talked with her about twice a year, to catch her up on the family around Seminole. I will miss her very much. She was the last of mothers family now. She always wanted to know about my family, including grown children , grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I remember all the visits when I was growing up and after I was married. Greg, I know you will miss your mother everyday, I miss mine everyday too, but she is always with you in your heart.
