Glen E. McGuire

After a brief hospitalization, Glen McGuire passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on June 11, 2018 at the age of 66 years.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Glen attended Denver public schools and a Texas university where he obtained a degree in Business Administration. Glen had varying interests and served on the committees of a number of organizations. He was an avid coffee expert, a lover of music, books and art. Glen and his fun sense of humor will be remembered by his sister, Jeanne Thompson, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many, many friends in the Denver area. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice McGuire and by his sister, Jill Nauman.
Glen will be greatly missed by his family, colleagues at Kaladi's coffee house, friends in his book club, and Friends at Mountain View Friends Meeting, where he was a valued member and held many positions of responsibility.

A memorial meeting for Glen McGuire, after the manner of Friends (Quakers), will be held on September 15, 2018 at 4:00 pm in the Osborne Parlor room on the second floor of the University Park United Methodist Church at 2180 S. University Blvd, Denver, CO 80210. Enter building on the north side adjacent to the parking lot (which is entered from S. Josephine St). There are stairs and an elevator to the second floor. Parking will be limited in the church's parking lot. There is street parking throughout the neighborhood.
Potluck will be held immediately following the memorial meeting at 5:15 pm at the Mountain View Friends Meeting at 2280 S. Columbine, Denver, CO 80210. Those attending the potluck can drop off your food at the Meetinghouse before the memorial meeting. You may even want to park at the Meetinghouse and walk to the United Methodist Church which is two blocks northwest of the Meetinghouse

Glen may be gone but will never be forgotten.
