George Kevorkian, 65, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1957 to George and Vivian Kevorkian. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald. 

George is survived by his son, David, his daughter-in-law, Sarah, and two grandchildren, Draven and Izabel.  He is also survived by his sister, Lydia (Ronald) Gese, and several nieces and nephews. 

To honor George’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.  The family invites you to privately celebrate George.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss, Lydia. My prayers go out to you as well as George's son and his family. As long as I've known Lydia she has been a support and caregiver of her brother, George. In addition she has always been a good friend and support to her family and friends. God bless all who morn George's loss.

  2. George was a good man and neighbor. He was always up for a conversation and his stories made me laugh. Our household will miss his smiling face an our pups will miss barking at him and getting pets from George on his daily walks.

  3. I met George when he arrived in Denver.
    He had many stories about Chicago and he always missed everything about his city. We were supposed to go to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubbies. So sorry we won't do that. George loved the Blackhawks and he taught me a lot about hockey.
    I am so sorry Lydia and your family for your loss. He relied on you so much.
    He will be at peace returning to his Chicago. I will miss him.

  4. I met George when he came to Colorado.
    He missed Chicago and we were always talking about going to Wrigley Field to watch the "Cubbies".
    He loved the Blackhawks and we got to enjoy a few games here in Denver. He taught me a lot about Hockey.

    I will miss him dearly and know he will be at peace back in his Chicago.

  5. Condolences to Lydia and the rest of George's family. George was a good friend from Prussing in Chicago in the '60s and 70's. Smart, funny, good athlete , we did have fun.
