Gelmar Andringa, 82, passed away on March 23, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, from 5-7PM, and funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 AM, BOTH at the Bullock Colonial Chapel, followed by a 12PM burial at Fairmount Cemetery.

Gelmar was my classmate in 5th and 6th grade at Peoria Christian School in Peoria, IA. We had many experiences together as good friends. We were a threesome with Lillian Vander Hart. My wife knew Carolyn well during her growing years in Denver. Great memories! Our condolences to the family!
To the family members who may not know Gelmar was my first cousin. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Please refer to Romans 8 verses 38 & 39 which says nothing can separate us from the love of God.
We enjoyed knowing Gel for the past ten years. He was so well liked by neighbors and especially the ones for whom he did lawn work. His scrabble skill, bird house building and jigsaw puzzle work were to be admired. Always remember the fun stuff in his life, knowing he is in God's memory.
We were lucky enough to have know Gel and be a part of his life for the past 7 years. His jovial laugh, warm and caring heart and concern for others were my favorite parts of knowing Gel. His love of God and for his family was evident. We enjoyed spending time with him and may he rest in Peace. I will never forget this good man.
