Fred W. Neher, Jr.
Born in Flushing, New York on October 18, 1936 to Frances and Fred Neher. They lived in New Canaan, Connecticut before his family moved to Boulder, CO in 1951. Fred attended Boulder High School and went on to play baseball at Southwest Texas State, University of Colorado (where he joined ΔΤΔ) and the University of Arizona. He met Pauline Jones at the University of Arizona and they were married on October 28, 1962. Together they had 4 children: Scott, Carrie, Kristin and Brad. Fred worked at California Oil in Denver before he became a State Farm Insurance Agent. He was office partners with his dear friend Fred Bishop for 38 years until his retirement in 1998 at the age of 62. Fred enjoyed coaching baseball, watching the Colorado Rockies, playing golf, woodworking, traveling (to Hawaii, Europe and Vail), and fishing. Most of all Fred loved spending time with his family and friends, and making them laugh. Fred is preceded in death by his wife Polly and his parents Frances and Fred Sr. He is survived by his children Scott (Sharon), Carrie (Doug) Lhotka, Kristin (Ryan) Orrell and Brad; grandchildren Madison (Luke) Dakin, Morgan (Garrett) Dahms, and Raegan and Audrey Orrell; brother Jim (Judy) Neher.
Flowers may be sent to the mortuary for the service or donations may be made in Fred's name to Patriot Golf Day (www.foldsofhonor.org/patriotgolfday)

So sorry for your loss. He and your Mother were good friends of mine. They were fun and beautiful people. May they rest in peace
