Memories Timeline

  1. I lost a friend on Saturday, March 26. I had known her my entire life. There were times when she was my best friend, and there were times when I thought she was my only friend. She was also my Mom. Although we lived far apart, she was always with me in my heart. There were many times when I would visit her over the years. We would talk about what was going on in our lives, and at some point we would run out of things to say. What followed was a silence, but it was a comfortable silence. Now there is silence, and it is anything but comfortable.

    RIP, Mom.
