Florence Lucy Cochran

Florence Lucy Cogswell was born to Elmer and Vira Cogswell September 2, 1925 at home in Elizabeth, Colorado. She married Harold V. Cochran on April 23, 1949 in the home they had just purchased. She lived for 70 years in that home. Although she had various jobs before her children were born she was primarily a homemaker, hosting a variety of family members as well throughout the years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church for most of her adult life, volunteering in many ways. Florence is survived by: her daughters, Rita (Ernie) Underwood, Della Menchaca, and Norma (Don) Taylor, brother, LeRoy Cogswell, sister, Anna Cabrera, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

My Aunt Florence was a caring and kind woman with a strong faith. For many years my family and I looked forward to receiving birthday and anniversary cards. She sent cheerful greetings to many family and friends for many years.
