Florence Ann Fortier
October 14, 1927 ~ January 8, 2020
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Florence (Flossie) Hofmeister Fortier on January 8, 2020, born October 14, 1927. She is survived by her brother, four children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her husband of over 50 years, Eugene (Gene) preceded her in 2001. She will be missed by all of us!
Mom was born, raised, educated, married and lived in the Denver metro area.
Her family was always her first priority but Mom was also active in her church, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, committed to the American Cancer Society and supported many different causes. We could not have asked for a better mother and role model.
A celebration of life will be held February 1st 1:00 - 4:00 at the clubhouse at Cameron at the Lake, 4301 S Pierce Street, Denver CO 80123. All are welcome to attend. Limited guest parking is available, but plenty of parking on Pierce Street.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to make a donation to the charity of your choice in Her honor.
