Erin Rae Underwood

April 20, 1984 ~ February 26, 2021
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Erin Mazotti-Underwood, who unexpectedly passed away on February 26, 2021. Erin was a caring soul who has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Erin was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Granddaughter, Niece, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. She is survived by her Mother, Teresa Hott; Father, Sam Mazotti; Stepmom, Jan Mazotti; children Kadin Underwood, Kaleb Underwood, Jeremiah Henry and Kaiya Henry; Sisters Brooke Mazotti, Rachel Mazotti and Skyla Mazotti; Grandparents Jim and Chris Bennett and Sam and Mary Mazotti; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family.
Erin loved camping, the Denver Broncos, and attending family gatherings. Her friends and family loved her for her bright smile, infectious laugh, and beautiful soul. She was a loving sister and confidante to her sister Brooke.
From the time she was able to walk and talk, Erin made things exciting and found joy in getting to know people – that never ended as she grew. We could all be in a new place together and she would introduce us to a room in minutes. Erin was a lovable, yet stubborn, woman with a beautiful smile, who was easy to talk to. Always there for people in need, Erin brought the best out in everyone she met and was the friend to go to during life’s celebrations and hardships.
Erin adored her children and embraced every moment with them. She was proud of Kadin and Kaleb for the young men they are becoming. She loved going to Kadin and Kaleb’s football and basketball games—cheering them on from the sidelines. She also loved watching Jeremiah and Kaiya begin their lives with wonder, energy and excitement.
Erin lived life with passion– deeply caring for everyone she met. She touched so many people in her short time on earth and will be missed by so many. We were all recipients of Erin’s love, and while we may not understand this loss, we know her journey has not come to an end... it is only just the beginning.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Church of Wheat Ridge, located at 4490 Newland St., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

Erin was always there for me, she treated me like her own daughter! We used to joke around and pretend like she actually was my mom. We worked together for years, then we both became pregnant, although I lost my baby she had beautiful twins! She supported me through the entire thing and knew it just wasn't my time. Her family became mine.. we both grew apart because we both had families to take care of, but always kept in touch. I'll always miss you Erin, thanks for changing my life!!
May God keep all of you close as you deal with Erin's loss. I am sure her grandmother Donna has welcomed her to peace and they are together now. I hope to see all of you soon and hear of your wonderful memories of Erin. With love, your aunt and great aunt, Barbara Brazzale and family
I met Erin when I was 17 years old, back in 2006. We worked together for 7 years and became fast friends and then more like sisters. I feel like I grew up with her, and went through more than I could even begin to say along the way. She was truly one of the most trustworthy friends I've ever had, and fiercely loyal. She cared for others so incredibly deeply, and always seemed to put herself aside if she thought she could help in even the smallest way. Although we had not seen each other in years, we would talk periodically like we never missed a second of one another's lives. Any room she entered became bright and lively, any situation became the best of times when she was involved. I will hold memories of time with you in the highest regards close to my heart and think of you often my beautiful friend. The world will be a little darker without you in it. Love you girl. Til next time. All my love- Ashley
