Elma "Betty" Elizabeth Carboni

Elma "Betty" Carboni, 87, passed away November 28th, 2017 in Littleton, Colorado.
She is survived by her loving family; son Darius (Anne) Pirzadeh, daughter Desiree (Kevin) Madsen of California; grandchildren: Leslie (Spencer) Calkins, Darius (Violet) Pirzadeh II, Michelle (Raudel) Madera, Catherine Pirzadeh, Brittney Madsen, and great-grandchildren RJ and Ayden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Carboni and son Roger Canfield.
As a young adult, Betty was an adventurer, moving to California in 1947 from a small town in Illinois. She spent time in Tehran, Iran in the early 1960's. While there, she worked at Pan American Oil Company along with other endeavors. She settled back into San Jose, California upon returning to the United States.
For a time she was co-owner of a walnut ranch, had a small retail business and worked at Lockheed Missiles and Space. She later moved to Littleton, Colorado to be closer to her son.
Visitation with remembrance will be held Thursday, December 7th, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at Bullock Mortuary, 1375 E. Hampden Ave., Englewood, CO 80113.
Private interment to follow Saturday, December 9th at Littleton Cemetery.
