Dearest Family, even though we had really just met, I had the honor of falling in love with your mom and Nana and I am so blessed that she touched my life! She shared with me that she wasn't afraid or angry and that she felt that everything was in order. I asked her what she wanted her legacy to be and she told me that she wanted her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to love and be happy above all else, stay close and keep strong and good communication. She shared that every wrinkle she had was a map of where she's been and if you followed one, it would lead to the birth of one of her children, or some other wonderful experience. She loved God and was comforted hearing His word. From just a sliver of time I found that she loved the sun and being outside, gardening, touching and hugs, bread with butter, tomatoes, orange juice, cigarettes, lilacs, touching her daughter's hair, candles, strawberry marbeeritas, the rosary, chapstick, the green blanket, her rings, Jesus Calling passages, my daughter Jenny, but most of all her family and the peace she felt knowing that they were all secure in love. What a remarkable woman! To hear of her past and see the incredibly strong, independent, gentle, compassionate, feisty and loving person that she became was so inspirational! Dear family, find comfort in the memories and know that she is with you and lives on in the beautiful legacy that started in her heart! I love you and I am praying for you, Syndi
Deepest sympathy to all of Eileen's family and friends from Robert and from me, he was sorry that he didn't have a chance to talk to her again before she passed. She is in a much better place now and will be missed.
