Edwin Alan Thomas 'Eddie' Eddie was born on August 24,1995 in Denver,co. He gained his wings on December 6, 2014 in Broomfield,co following a lifelong illness. Eddie's life would seem too short to many, but those that were touched by him understand. The quality of his existence far exceeded his quantity of time. His beaming smile could melt the hearts of those around him. Although Eddie's illness made him frail, he possessed the strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome incredible odds. He could spend hours with his grandmother while she stroked his hair or scratched his back. He enjoyed music, playing games and sleeping late. He loved the color red and watching all of his favorite Colorado teams. With Eddie's passing we remind ourselves that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, he will forever remain in our hearts. Eddie leaves behind many wonderful caregivers, too numerous to mention, that provided him with love, dignity in life and death and support that enhanced his quality of life. Eddie is survived by his mother, Carrie Apodaca, father, Gary Thomas. Sister Theresa Zambori. Maternal grandparents John Apodaca and Linda Osterhout. Aunt Christina Nixon and uncle Keith Apodaca.
