Edward S. Coleman Jr.

edward coleman jr.

Edward "Ed" Sidney Coleman, Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 24, 1961. He was the second of three children born to Edward S. Coleman, Sr. (deceased) and Arlene Coleman. After high school, Ed enlisted in the United States Army (1978). He bravely served his country where he became a Sharpshooter and worked with Munitions. The US Army brought Ed to Colorado. He decided to stay and make this his home after he was discharged. "Would you like to dance?" is the question Laura Berti asked Ed when they met in 1985 at a local establishment. Laura couldn't resist his blue eyes and sense of humor. "The rest is history!" Ed and Laura were married in 1993 and in 2004 welcomed their daughter Sydney to the world. Sydney described her dad as "funny, smart and awesome". Ed also has another daughter, Emily, from a previous marriage. When Ed wasn't home enjoying "family time", he was outdoors! He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and fast (fancy) cars. His love for the outdoors also took him to warm, sunny beaches. Laura has many fond memories of their vacations, especially to Mexico where they enjoyed relaxing on the beach. Ed will be remembered as a very generous, giving and sensitive person. He had a true passion for life. Ed was fun to be around and was the "Head Chef" at the Coleman home. He did everything HIS WAY and made it all work! On Saturday, September 21, 2013 Ed passed away. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Laura E. Coleman, daughter Sydney, mother Arlene Coleman, his two brothers Ron and Doug, his mother in law Jan Berti, along with many family members and friends.
