  1. RIP my dear friend.

I've wondered for a very long time what had become of you.

Ed and I had a very special bond in 1982. He was a Lumper at the time and I would meet him after my late night shift and sit with him while he contacted truckers on his CB radio to unload them in the morning. He was the Green Mountain, I was the Southern Belle.

After he set up a few jobs, we would meet up with other Lumpers at the waffle house, on Peoria and sit for hours, talking and laughing. Some times I would go with him while he unloaded the truck, I would fall asleep on the boxes until he made his way to the pile I was on.

I moved back to Florida in 1983 and we wrote back and forth for a little while. I still have some of them.

I found him in 1995 when I moved back to Colorado when he worked for the furniture place, but then lost track of him again.

I know he has been gone, now, for 9 years but I still remember those beautiful eyes and his contageous smile from so long ago.

My heartfelt condolences to his children. I know you are missing him with all your heart.

I will never forget you, Edward Manuel Mamasian. I will always remeber your huge heart and the twinkle in your eye. I will always hold a special place in my heart for the friendship that we shared. I will always have a special love for you.

Until we meet again, Rest in Peace
