Eddie was born March 15, 1959 in Winton, Minnesota to Betty Louise Voit and Leo Edward Voit. He worked for Coors for 18 years, then spent time in Clayton, New Mexico before returning to Colorado where he was a talented self-taught diesel mechanic for Sturgeon Electric. Eddie loved to bowl, fish, camp and play golf. He is survived by his long-time partner Lynn Mote, mother Betty Voit, sons James, Richard, Justin and EJ and grandchildren Madison, Leo, Lukas and Zak, as well as his siblings, Brenda, Greg, Alan and Michael. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Leo Edward Voit.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, April 6, 2018 at 3:00pm at The Chapel at Faith Bible Chapel, 6225 Wright Street, Arvada, CO 80004
