It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Gene Kastler on June 20, 2025. Ed was born on January 1, 1977 to Norman Kastler and Sherry Miller in Denver, CO.

Ed was well loved by everyone who knew him and was a loving and caring person who loved to crack jokes and make people laugh. He had a love for pool, poker, and wood carving. In the last years of his life, he became a prominent member of the International Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire. Ed loved working with ICRME to raise money for charity and was crowned Regent Emperor 52 before his passing.

Ed is preceded in death by his father Norm, his mother Sherry, his wife Melissa, and his brother Rocky. He is survived by his two sons, Noah and Jacoby, his siblings Joann, Marc, Kelly, and Gloria, and many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed.

  5. Ed was a fantastic guy, and he did anything for the community. He did a great deal for the ICRME organization over the years. As he was going to be crowned as regnant emperor, I was going to give him the name Skywalker. It would have been his first drag name since he had been involved. He will be missed. Rest in Peace, my friend.

So much fun with ya my friend in a short time. You always had a way of making laughter in the worst of situations. I just talked to you after your move and asked if you were good. We needed to do another birthday dinner. Miss you!!
