Edward Garcia

Edward Garcia was born on February 10, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to Antonio and Estelle (Gonzales) Garcia.  He passed away on January 16, 2013 in Westminster, Colorado.  Edward entered the Army of the United States on December 16, 1946 and was honorably discharged on December 15, 1949. He married Josephine E. Moya, on June 2, 1961.

He is survived by his wife Josephine; 3 daughters Lori Martinez, Pamela Garcia and Micki Santistevan; 5 grandchildren Natalie Martinez, Adrian Martinez, Julie Garcia, Eric Martinez and Mia Garcia-Santibanez; 1 great grandchild Noah Martinez; 2 sons-in-law Michael Martinez and R. Charles Santistevan; 1 brother William Garcia and 1 sister Genevieve Garcia.

Recitation of the Rosary Wednesday, January 23rd at 9:00 a.m. at St. Cajetan's Catholic Church,  Mass of the Ressurection will immediately follow the Rosary.  Graveside services will follow at 11:30 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery (staging area B) with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Veterans of Foreign War honor guard.
