Douglas Steven McCrill

Douglas Steven McCrill was born September 2nd, 1961 in Colorado to Val McCrill, preceded by his sister Linda Wallace. He graduated from Hinkley High School, worked for IHS for 25 years and then went on to work for the Aurora Public School District. He married Sherri on July 14th, 2001 and proved to be an amazing stepfather to her children Nick and Jess. Being a grandfather was one of his greatest joys in life.

He was a man of many talents and passions, including woodworking, craftsmanship, and music. He loved collectibles, attending ComicCon, camping, and fishing. He was known to be a compassionate and easy-going man with an extraordinary sense of humor and a deep love for his  wife.. He was baptized with her in May of 2018 at Woodmen Church.

He is survived by his son Nick Young, his daughter Jess Young (Trevor Smith), and his grandchildren Jayden and Adrian.
