Dorothy Lee Ritter

Dorothy Lee Ritter, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister died at Allison Care Center on October 7, 2019. Born in Fayette, Missouri January 26,1935, to Delmar and Dorthy Coffman. Dorothy Lee lived in the Wheatridge-Arvada area for over 60 years. Prior to moving to Colorado, Dorothy Lee and her family lived in 5 different western states as they followed her father, a physician specializing in the treatment of tuberculosis. She is also preceded in death by her parents and two children, Chrystie Lynn and Vickie Lynn Ritter.



Dorothy Lee is survived by her daughter Sheriann Ritter-Scott of Miles City, Montana and two sisters, Suzanne Warner of Commerce City, and Elvajane Wright of Arvada.



Dorothy Lee was a talented singer, often singing in a trio with her sisters. She loved reading, embroidery, and crocheting. A devoted homemaker, she also worked in medical offices throughout her adult life.



She will be sorely missed. We will celebrate her life at a graveside service at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Monday, October 21,2019, at 12:00. ( Meet at staging area A at 11:30)
