Donald George Osborne

Donald George Osborne(Ozzy), 60 of Harlowton, Montana passed away on February 3,2019 in Wheatland Memorial Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Donnie was born August 20th 1958 in Denver, CO to Harriet (Smart)Osborne and Wayne George Osborne. He graduated from Denver West High School in 1975. Donnie went into Law Enforcement with the Denver Police Department graduating from the Police Academy on July 31,1981. On August 16,1986 he was united in marriage to his best friend Karen Chamberlain. They made their home in Denver as he continued his career with the Denver Police Department working his way up to a Metro SWAT Officer. A job he thoroughly enjoyed. Donnie was injured on July 8,1995, while pursuing physical training as a Metro SWAT Officer. He spent the next few years in rehabilitation and was retired from the Police Department due to the severity of his injures. Upon completion of his rehabilitation process they relocated to The Smart Ranch west of Harlowton. Ozzy's dream where he spent the next 23 years. Ozzy was an avid hockey player, fisherman, and water skier. Ozzy never had a bad word for anyone. People greatly respected Ozzy. He loved his friends, and his family and his two stepsons. He is survived by his wife, Karen of Harlowton is two stepsons, Gary Hess of Aurora,Co, Michael (Suzy) Hess of Great Falls, Mt. sister Kay Muller of Denver Co, brother Ken (Shirley) Osborne of White Sulphur Springs, Mt four grandchildren, Jillian, Luke,Vaughn, and Kyle Hess, niece Kara(Tom( Wainman, Kendra(Brad) Gault, and nephew Kenny(Tessa)Osborne, and three grand niece's and three grand nephews. His father-in-law and mother-in-law Vaughn and Clara Chamberlain and brother in-law Kevin(Leann) Chamberlain. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Ozzy was a huge dog lover all his life. He had Buttons, Mister, Missy, and Oggie who meant the world to him.
A memorial service for Ozzy will be March 15, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 located at the Denver PPA Event Center at 2105 Decatur Street Denver, CO.
