Dolly Lavena Beaman

Dolly Lavena Beaman went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 8, 2012. She passed peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Lakewood. Dolly was born on a farm in Hamilton County, Kansas, and grew up 8 miles north of Coolidge, Kansas. She was the daughter of George and Edith Herren. Dolly married Lloyd N Beaman on January 10, 1935, in Syracuse, KS. To this union was born 5 children: Rose (aka Rose Ellen), Darlene, Lilly (aka toots), Ruby (aka Babe), and George. Dolly was preceded in death by: her parents and husband; her brothers: Noah, Elza, and Carl Herren; her sisters: Florence Berndt, Lissie Fay, Gladys Gardner, Thelma Stimatze and Minnie Kinslow: three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dolly is survived by one sister: Venus Gropp of Lakin, KS; one son: George Beaman (wife Cindy), Ft. Lupton CO; four daughters: Rose Keeler (husband Elmer), Lakewood, CO; Darlene Gillespie, Saquache, CO; Lilly Cotton, Commerce City, CO; and Ruby McCombs, Greenbier, AR; 16 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Interment will be the cemetery in Coolidge, KS.
