Dennis Roy "Butch" Orszulak

Dennis "Butch" Orszulak Dennis Orszulak, or "Butch" as his friends lovingly called him, was born March 29, 1945 in Ware, Massachusetts. He spent his teenage years there and then moved to Glenrock, Wyoming. Much to his dislike, he was not a cowboy as he discovered while herding cattle. He did not ride a horse when he moved to Denver. In Denver, he met his soon to be best friend, Don Christenson. Don introduced Butch to dump truck driving, but due to a slowing of business Butch then found his love and life-long career in over-the-road truck driving. He traveled many, many miles all over the United States. Butch lost his life doing what he loved. Butch is survived by his beloved wife, Doreen; his son, Jeff; and daughter, Gayle in Oklahoma. His grandchildren are Cody and Amber, also of Oklahoma. He married into three step children, Donnie, John and Jody Heldenbrand. He was blessed with two wonderful grandchildren, Nolan Tatum and Sierra Heldenbrand. Butch loved ice fishing, hunting and NASCAR racing. He could often be found at the Englewood Speedway. He loved all animals; his favorites were Ruger, his German Short Hair, and Mac and Molly, his black Scotties. He had many dear friends and had a great sense of humor. Butch will be missed and remembered by all as husband, dad, grandpa and friend. En lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Doreen Orszulak for the Orszulak Memorial Family Fund at 9406 West Wagon Trail Circle in Littleton, Colorado, 80123.
