Dennis E. Brenning

Dennis Edward Brenning, 79, passed away in the comforts of his home on July 9, 2019.

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, to his parents Edward and Iona Brenning.

He began his career as a Serviceman in the Navy, serving on the USS Gilmore as a Radioman. He continued his career as a Police Serviceman for the Denver Police Department in 1963, where he retired as a Sargent in 1992.

He is survived by his Wife, Jan Lamar-Warner; Children, Marlana Brenning, Eric Brenning and Nicole Harrington; Grandchildren, Sarah Brenning, Ashley Brenning and Brianna Lakely; Great-grandchildren, Maddison Funck, Jaxon Funck, and Branson Lakely; Former spouse Judith Brenning.

The memorial service/funeral/reception will be held on July 17, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Harvey Park Christian Church, 3401 S. Lowell Blvd. Denver, Co 80236. Following services will be at 2:15 p.m. at the Ft. Logan Cemetery Staging area C, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. Denver, Co 80236. Reception will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 9644, 2680 W. Hampden Ave. Englewood, Co 80110-1906.
