Delores Gilmer

Dolores Gilmer (Mary Delores Gonzales) was born December 3, 1927 in Weld County, Colorado to Mary Macias-Gonzales and Jesus Gonzales. She was their sixth child. She is preceded in death by her brother Alfred Gonzales, brother Vincent Gonzales, brother Alfonso Gonzales, sister Beatrice Gonzales, and younger brother Phillip Gonzales, survived by brother Ralph Gonzales. She was loving mother to 8 children, Geraldine (Gilbert) Gonzales (deceased), Leo (Mary) Garcia, William(deceased) (Beverly) Garcia, Andrew Garcia, David Garcia, Roger (Glenda) Garcia, Edward Garcia(deceased), Cynthia (Don) Dietz- Marsh. Was loving grandmother to Richard (Wanita) Gonzales, Dwayne (Gaylene) Gonzales, Rodney Gonzales, Lee (Paula) Garcia, Lanette (Javier) Lopez, Ronette Garcia, Desiree Garcia, Becky (Karen) Barela, Michelle Garlington, Nathan Garcia, David Garcia Jr., Edward (Christina) Garcia Jr., Billiemarie (Marie) Garcia, Danny Phillip Dietz Jr. (deceased), Tiffany (Alex) Bitz, Eric (June) Dietz, and numerous Great Grandchildren, Great- Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her loving husband James Gilmer.

She worked at Denver General Hospital for many years and has long retired from her position.

She was a member of Eternal Life Temple, where she faithfully attended for many years until her health no longer allowed her to attend but was always with them in spirit.

Services are scheduled at Bullock Mortuary in Englewood on Monday, March 7th at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 11:30 am. Wake to follow at VFW Post 5061.
