David M. "Dave" Remley
August 30, 1939 ~ March 8, 2016
So many dear people touched David's life. He so appreciated each and every one of you. David was very proud of his Norwegian/German heritage. Travel, a favorite took us to both countries as well as others in Europe, Central and South American. Cruises were enjoyed with travel to Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean. Membership in the International Police Association gave us friends worldwide. Fishing topped his list as evidenced by the included picture. Second in his life, was our Conifer home complete with Red, a retired Mounted Patrol horse and his puppies, Barney and Levi. David was a very highly respected Denver Police officer serving 30 1/2 years in various capacities. The last was in the mounted patrol, first as stable manager/horseshoer and finally riding Belker. David has a long career as a professional horseshoer (farrier), highly respected and trusted by his clients. The circle of friends grew even wider as a result. He was very proud of family and loved each and every one of you, although it never showed. Karen (Al) Stennett, Phillip (Emy) Remley, Robert (Barbara) Remley, Phyllis (John) Parker, William (Bill) Bassett. David was proud of the nieces, nephews and their families including: Leif (Simone) Remley, Erin (David) Romero, Renee Swain, Scott Parker, Sara (Will) Richardson, Shelby Stennett, Kyle (Traci) Remley and Beth (Shaun) Clemenson
