David K. Slote
January 30, 1936 ~ January 14, 2021
David K. Slote, 84, of Arvada, CO passed away January 14, 2021. He was born in Plymouth, Nebraska to Martin and Lula Slote. David served in the Marines from 1955 to 1959 in Hawaii. He always talked about being there and how much he loved it. After the Marines he did odd jobs until he started with USPS, he enjoyed being a mailman. He loved to talk to people about growing up on a farm in Nebraska with his siblings Lois, Helen, Betty, Junior, Nell, Mary, Eva, Jacque, and Larry. David was an amazing dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He loved the Denver Broncos and at one point had season tickets. David is survived by his Daughter Melissa, Granddaughters Brooke and Bryna, Grandson Cayden and Great Grandchildren Eloise and Jordan. He also had six Stepchildren Joseph Brice, Marsha, Greg, Kathy and Charles Kane and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Thank you for those fun memories!You were a dad to me when i needed you most. I will miss our annual cranberry sauce making event and the fried chicken dinners i made for you on birthdays past.
