David Gish

David Michael Gish of Englewood, Co. passed away on Oct 9, 2018. David was born Nov 20, 1962 in Merced, California to Joseph R & Florene J. Gish. He is survived by 3 siblings; Darryl (of Valdosta, Ga; wife Patricia, sons Jeremy and Shawn), Melanie (of Englewood, Co; sons Timothy and Jessie) and Daniel (of Tampa, Fl; wife Debbie, daughter Courtney, son Nicholas). Growing up in an military family, his father retired in Tampa, Florida after 22 years of service in the Air Force, David decided to follow in the military fashion and joined the Navy after graduating high school. After serving 4 years as an aircraft electrician, David went back to Tampa and worked as a computer specialist. He also looked after his parents until his father passed in 1999 and quit working to take care of his mother full time until she passed in 2012. Then he toured the country and ended up in Englewood, Colorado with his sister in 2013 and has been here ever since. He worked at Brookdale Meridian Senior Living as a maintenance technician and was respected by his fellow co-workers and loved by the residents. His love of God was evident everywhere he went and will surely be welcomed in heaven as Jesus says “Well done my good and faithful servant”.
