David Barron Lowe

David B. Lowe, age 74, died on March 20, 2017, in Denver, Colorado. He was born February 23, 1943, in Norwalk, Ohio. He was a 1961 graduate of Norwalk High School and 1966 graduate of Miami University, where he joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Following service in the U.S. Marine Corps, he started his business career with National City Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1972 he moved to Denver, where he joined Northwestern Mutual and later Colorado National Bank. He managed Fair Publishing Company in Norwalk from 1990 until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed hiking in the Colorado mountains, fly fishing, collecting Western art, gardening, and watching old movies and sports, especially football.
David is survived by his wife Marie "Mimi" (Holzhauser); sons Aaron (Angelica) Lowe of Lakewood, CO, and Adam Lowe of San Diego, CA; sister Anne (Michael) Knasel of Greenwood, VA; and nephews David Knasel and William (Meredith) Knasel of McLean, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Helene (Book) Lowe.
Private inurnment took place at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
