Daniel (Danny) Lamb passed away May 26, 2020 at Porters Hospital in Denver, Colorado from pneumonia. Danny had been diagnosed with lung cancer that previous December. He won that battle after a successful surgery removed all the cancer from his lung. Danny had a successful follow up surgery in April that closed tissue that was allowing fluid to leak from his chest cavity into his back shoulder area. After coming home he became short of breath and was diagnosed with pneumonia and was hospitalized once again. Danny is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherri, his 5 children and 7 almost 8 grandchildren.
Danny worked for the Douglas County Sheriffs Department as a deputy sheriff from 1983 until his retirement in 2018. The sheriffs department along with his family and friends will be memorializing Danny on August 10, 2020 at 10am at the Double Angel Baseball field. The family welcomes all well wishers to attend and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Double Angel Foundation.
