Dan and I were close friends in our twenties, but I moved away from Denver and entropy did its thing. Thanks to FB, we got back in touch over the last few years. Even though it was a short period of time that we were close, my memories with Dan are BIG. Seriously, full of supernovas and newly forming planets and megatons-of-stardust big. My deepest sympathies and greatest love to his family, especially Deb & Annabelle, for this insane before-his-time loss. xoxoxox -Liz
I only had the opportunity to meet Daniel a few times at school functions for our daughters Luna and Anabelle, but he was a very nice man. My deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers are with his family. Debora and Anabelle, if you need ANYTHING please let me know. I can help as much as possible with Anabelle through this tragic time. Deb I can't find your number so I will post mine here. Again, I am extremely sorry for your loss! Sincerely,

I met Dan a few times at functions for his brother-in-law Bill, whom I've known for many years. I was always struck by the depth of Dan's intelligence and knowledge, as well as his hilarious and dry sense of humor. I'm so sorry to hear about his untimely passing and my heart goes out especially to Deb an Anabelle.
I came to know Dan over the past few years in our political House District 6 work. I loved his passion and compassion. He was there to make us take a hard look at ourselves as well as our opponents. Nobody got a free pass from Dan. I will try to pick up your banner and carry it forward. Dan, I really wish I had known you longer and better. You are, in your father's words, a HERO.
