Curtis William Trujillo

curtis trujillo

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Curtis William Trujillo, a beloved son, brother, friend, cousin, and grandson passed away. Curtis was 26 years old, born to Neil Trujillo and Angela Hall.

Curtis loved being around all his family, loved to travel, was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, and loved to ride his motorcycle.  He loved being with his girlfriend Vanah Sexton and all their fur babies Mazie, Martin, Maverick, Mojito and Margarita.  He was a great role model and example for all his siblings.  His favorite football team was the Baltimore Ravens, and his favorite color is Purple.  Feel free to wear his color to the services.

Curtis was best known for his witty character, pranking his friends, family and coworkers, his warm smile, huge loving heart, hard-headed personality, and his unending amount of random knowledge.  Everyone called him Google because he knew everything about everything.

Curtis is survived by his parents Neil Trujillo and Angela Hall, his bonus parents Mike Hall and Lizette Anders, Jani Trujillo, his two brothers Haden and Marcos, and his two sisters, MyKayla and Natalia.

His passing was unexpected and tragic, and the loss will be felt by many.  We will all be left with deep holes in our hearts.  He touched so many lives in such a short amount of time.  We are truly grateful and thankful for the time we were allowed with him.  We love you Curtis - you will be missed but never forgotten.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Red Rocks Church, Arvada Campus, 7100 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, CO 80003.  Public viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a reception following at Ralston Park Apartments Clubhouse from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. A happy memory I have of Curtis is when he was a little boy. He and my son were so close and grandma loved to have them around and took them so many places. She decided to take the to Disney World and boy Curtis couldn't wait to meet all the characters especially Tigger . We missed so many rides because we had to find all the characters and have them sign autographs and get to tigger. He was so cute running around with his cousin Cody and made me smile. The way he packed his cheeks when he ate looked just like Chip and Dale. He was such a good boy and will be dearly missed. We love you Curtis. Uncle Rob Aunt Susan, Cody and Zoey.

  2. Curtis always made me feel welcomed at any Event we had going on with Skyline. I've always been kind of shy and awkward around large gatherings and he was always right there to make me feel better. I really enjoyed talking with him and he was such a great soul. Always had that smile 💗

  3. Curtis always made me feel welcomed at any Event we had going on with Skyline. I've always been kind of shy and awkward around large gatherings and he was always right there to make me feel better. I really enjoyed talking with him and he was such a great soul. Always had that smile 💗

  4. Curtis was always quick to smile and even laughed at my “dad jokes.” We were happy to have him as part of our family as he added more happiness, positivity, and warmth. He will be missed by many.

  5. One of my best memories with my brother even though there are many in the 21 years that i knew my brother, is how we would always go off each other and connect so much through motors wether it was bikes or cars we were both gear head and would help each other fix mostly my vehicles and modify our vehicles and watching each other smile with the things that we both loved so so much even though i have endless memories with my best friend but that one really sparks a moment place in my heart

  6. Curtis and I went to School together starting back in Elementary all the way through High School. Lost touch over the years but started to reconnect when he attended Red Rocks Church. Curtis, sad to see you gone so soon. Sending lots of love to you and your family. God has you in his arms now. Rest in Peace.

  7. I got lucky many years ago and with that I was blessed with two amazing additional children in my life, Curtis and Haden. From the moment I met Curtis, my memories of him will always be his hugs, his infectious smile, his laugh and his kindness. I also enjoyed how much he loved to talk. He could talk to me forever about anything and I loved that about him. I remember the first time I met Curtis, Angie had brought him and Haden to Grandma Kathy's and they both had their paintball guns. They wanted to show us their guns and they were both so excited. I will miss him so much. I love you, Curtis 💜

  8. Loved going to any gatherings where Curtis was at. He was a down to earth guy, always smiling and would make sure you feel included. You will be missed friend.

  9. My memory of Curtis is when I first met him at Angie's grandmas house. He was 15 months old and when I saw him he had oxygen on due to an illness. He was walking and smiling the whole time even though he was on a long oxygen leash. He was like a little tank, so cute and such a good boy. He made everyone feel comfortable even if you were not blood. I will miss him everyday for the rest of my days.

  10. Curtis was well loved and will be sorely missed and always remembered..so sweet and loving, kind and thoughtful sole, we love you

  11. Curtis will be so very missed. I will miss his kind sweet smile, his contagious laugh, and for being a good sport when I teased him about the Ravens! I will miss seeing in his eyes how very much he loved our granddaughter Vanah. This world has lost a beautiful soul.
Happy Trails Curtis, we love you.
Oh, and thanks for showing me how good a Reese's peanut butter cup is when frozen!!

  12. Curtis, you were so very loved! Your soul was as gentle as they come and your smile as bright as the sun! Your uncle Mike and I still cannot believe you are gone! We are all so blessed to have you as our guardian angel although we wish we all had much more time with you here on earth!

  13. Thank you to everyone who sent beautiful flowers, gifts, texts, calls, food, emails, all the trees planted in my son's memory, for everyone who has donated to Curtis's GoFundMe page and helped us plan his Celebration of Life. To all that provided free services for our family during this tragic and unexpected loss we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you to all the civilians that showed up on the scene to perform CPR and comfort to help my son before the paramedics arrived. Thank you to the EMS team who did everything possible to save him. To all the family and friends who helped with opening their homes for family to stay, and picking me up from airport, providing transportation, making T-shirts, coming and sitting with us, and to all those who prayed and continue to pray for our family. To everyone who showed up to the Candlelight Vigil, viweing, memorial service or celebration of life reception we love you and you ALL played a special role in our journey to this new life without our son. We will be forever grateful, thankful and humbled. We will continue to pray for each of you. May God bless you keep you, may his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you, and give you peace. In Jesus name Amen
