Curtis Dale Norman Went to be with the Lord on Father's Day, 6/17/2012 at age 78. Born in Grayson/Kelly, Louisiana and grew up in Columbia, La Retired twice, 20 years for the US Army and 20 years for the US Army Corp of Engineers. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary E. Norman. 4 children, Edith Theresa Bearden & husband Keith, Anna L. Cardenas, Billy D. Cardenas and deceased-Greg Cardenas also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister Willie Dean Darden of Columbia, La and 2 nephews, Rex & Ronnie Darden. Cousin Abner & Judy Norman of Ruston, La. Preceded in death by mother, Gertie Gregory, father William Henry Norman and sister Laverne Chaddock. He loved fishing, hunting and spending quality time with his ONE true love, his wife Mary and family. Special, special thanks to Patti Rose of Odessy Hospice of Colorado Springs, Co who was a very dear friend to Curtis and nurses Kathy & Laura and the other nurses who would fill in when needed. Also Pastor Mike, for always praying and being there when needed. Thanks again for all their loving care for Curtis Norman. This was very, very much appreciated by all the family.
