Christopher Charles Farnham
October 3, 1944 - June 9, 2022
Christopher (Chris) C. Farnham was called away from his home in Wheat Ridge Colorado on Thursday, June 9, 2022. His passing was unexpected. Chris was born in Sterling, Illinois on October 3, 1944. His parents were Charles A. Farnham and Flora B. (Barlow) Farnham.
Chris graduated from Sterling High School in 1962. He received a BBD in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Work eventually took Chris to Wheat Ridge, Colorado where he later retired to tend to health issues.
Chris had two passions that started in his early life - his dogs and bowling. Chris also enjoyed the visits from the group of high school friends who remained lifelong friends. Chris will be missed, not only by his old group, but by three special, caring neighbors, Leigh Roberts, Dave Ebersole, and Gil Dominguez who took time to help when he needed help. Those who loved Chris owe them a debt of gratitude.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents and a special aunt, Aunt Alice (Barlow) Oberbillig, all of Sterling, Illinois.
Go rest on that mountain, Chris.
We lived across the street from Chris, and he was the best neighbor we could have. He loved his pet family. When we moved to Wyoming, we stayed in touch and visited him when we were in the neighborhood. He reveled in his friendship with Terry Brooks and his friends from his past. We are saddened by his passing. When our Christmas card was returned. We had tried to call several times but were unable to reach him. He was a bright light in our living and will always be a great memory. We lived at 3780 Garland st. God speed CHRIS!!
