  1. Hi dad,
It's New Years Day & although I wanted to write this sooner I wasn't able to do so because I would break down crying. I miss & love you so much. You were taken from us far too soon & suddenly. I know you're watching over me & that I'll see you soon. I know these last few years have been difficult for you having to sacrifice what you love for me in order to provide for me & my own health issues. Thank you for giving up so much for me & helping me. Thank you for being both my care provider & my financial provider.

You were such a great dad. You taught me how to ride a bike, play baseball, & taught me to be a good person. You instilled values on me that everyone matters. I miss your smile, your laugh, your warmth, your comfort, & your love greatly. You're my hero & always will be. You touched the lives of so many. You were my best friend & I am grieving badly over loosing you.

Remember that time you taught me how to drive up at the farm when I was 13? That time you brought all the root beer from the A&W's to my class? Remember how stayed hours with me in the hospital reassuring me everything would be ok? Remember when we spread Klaus' ashes only a few weeks later to find Sunny? Remember meeting Mickey Mantle, your hero, at a baseball card show? I guess you're playing catch with him now.

Thank you for being such an amazing father. Please tell mom hello & that I love and miss her greatly too.
    I love you so much dad……and I really miss you a lot…..

    Your son,
    John

  2. Hi Dad!
I miss you so much! You are the best Dad that anyone could have. You were always there for me to talk to for fatherly advice, sports conversations, spiritual conversations or just to talk to about anything. You were also a great Grandpa to our 4 children Brandon, Noah, Elijah and Camille. They miss you too!
I remember all the good times we shared in you coaching my youth sports teams growing up and the sayings you had.
I have so many fond memories growing up with you as my Dad. Too many to share! You are the best Dad and I love you and miss you!
