Cecelia Elisa Ortiz

Cecelia Elisa Ortiz born in Edith, Colorado and an Englewood Resident for 63 years passed away on August 17, 2008 at the age of 90 years.  She was a gentle, humble woman with tremendous capacity to share her love with family, friends, and acquaintances alike.

Cecelia worked in food service venues throughout her adult life.  She worked with three area restaurants; Craig Rehabilitation & Swedish Medical Center for 18 years; and Englewood Public Schools.

She is survived by her children: Judy (Jerry), Lizbeth, Clara, Geraldine (John), Leo (Taunyia), Dean (Christine), Corinne (Rick), Lorraine (Tim), Barbara (Paul), Norma (Jim), and Chuck; 33 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters, Della Gonzales and Sophie Toman.  Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband Zoilo; daughter, Anita; and great grandson, Anthony.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at All Souls Catholic Church on August 20th at 10:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30.  Interment following at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
