Cayetano "SONNY" S. deGuzman

Sonny was a A good friend to my husband and I for a long time. My husband knew him for 20+ years through playing pool. I always looked forward to walking into the shack and going straight to Sunny to hear my weekly joke. I loved listening to his stories. He could talk about anything with us. I got the honor of taking him to his last pow wow in Denver this year. We waited in line forever for our fried bread, watched the dances and of course he ran in to a bunch of people he knew as we made the rounds to the vendors. It was awesome. He was a very creative person and he showed me a lot about making things with your hands, in the 10 short years I had to know him. He also spoke at our wedding. He was an incredible dude and when you put time in with him, he put time in with you. We already miss him terribly and were so sad to hear about his passing. All our love goes out to his family. Much love to his son, his daughter and the grandkids. He talked about you guys with us And although we didn’t get to spend time with you guys, We are here, if you all need anything.
