Carroll was promoted to Heaven after a long difficult battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) He lived life to the fullest for 85 years. He was loved and respected by all. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and especially missed by “Schatzi” and “Saxton” his beloved Shih
Tzu dogs.

Carroll was born in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, son of Blanche Rodrigues Hernandez and Bradley
Hernandez Sr.
He graduated from high school in Louisiana. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1958. He reenlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1958 to 1975 upon his retirement from the military. After retirement from service to our country, he worked for Sears for 20 additional years, 5 years at Montgomery Ward, and at Willis Case Golf Course 10 years .
He served as Chaplain for AMERICAN LEGION-Post 151. Carroll was an avid golfer in his spare time.
He also volunteered his service at Praise Center Church, He was a member of VFW from 1986 until he passed, was a lifetime member of the Lakewood Elks lodge #1777.
He is survived by his loving, devoted spouse and caregiver of 31 years, Dianna Blea Hernandez.
Sister Jane Hernandez Puglia, Brother James (Buddy) Hernandez. Grandson, Jason Hernandez(Sabrina) three great grandchildren Isaac, Aricella and Gabriel.
Nieces Cathy(Timmy) Haddican, Phyllis Puglia Welch(Dennis), George Puglia, Bianca Puglia, Bonnie Cavignac (Ray) endeared nephew Bradley(Knuck) Hernandez (Jessica) Judy Roberts (Earl)

He was preceded in death by his only daughter Gina Marie Hernandez, sister Edna O’Rourke, brothers Douglas Hernandez, Hudson “Tee”Hernandez, and endeared brother-in-law Francis Puglia.
The funeral service will be at Praise Center Church on Thursday 11:00 A.M., April 7, 2022 at 3105 W. Florida Ave., Denver, CO 80219
Visitation will precede the service from 10 o’clock till 11.
Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery 1:15 P.M., Staging Area C, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Denver Hospice Veterans Program located at
8289 E. Lowery Blvd.

Uncle Carroll, I will miss you so much. We have had a lot of fun over the years. Besides, how can I not love an Uncle who would climb on my roof after Katrina? Please tell Gina hello for me.
