Carolyn Jeanne Lisle

Carolyn Jeanne Lisle passed away at age 85 on September 4, 2026 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born Carolyn Jeanne Benes in Van Wert, Ohio, she grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio attending Orange High School. After high school, Carolyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She worked in pathology labs and doctors offices over the course of her career.

Carolyn cherished her family and friends. She was caring and generous to all those close to her. After raising a family of four, Carolyn met and married Charles Lisle. Carolyn and Chuck found great joy in the outdoors skiing, hiking, and spending time on the beaches of Mexico.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Charles, daughters Melanie Kilroy and Emily Abraham, son Mark McNamara and seven grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie McNamara.

Carolyn’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
