Carl E. Hoff

Carl Edward Hoff was born August 23, 1929, in Elizabeth New Jersey. His parents were Carl Hoff, Sr. and Marie Bergmann Hoff. He graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1947. He then graduated from Kutztown State Teacher's College with a degree in Education. He taught special education and coached football in Maplewood and Hamburg, New Jersey. In 1967, Carl received his M.A. Degree in Special Education from William Patterson State College. In that same year he moved to Colorado where he taught school and coached football in Boulder and Lafayette.

Carl was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He started his Masonry in the Loyalty Lodge #33 in Union, New Jersey and had a dual membership in the Lafayette Lodge #91 in Lafayette, Colorado, where he received an honorary 50-year pin and certificate on Oct. 13, 2010.

Carl was a Beloved Member of his Church, the "I AM" Sanctuary of Denver, a Beloved teacher, mentor, friend and coach. He lived his life with integrity and honor under the principles of Masonry and was a dedicated and devoted member.

He is survived by his sister, Caroline Hoff Harmon who resides in Flemington, New Jersey, and two cousins: Dorothy Hoffman Reilly from Peapack, New Jersey and Marjorie Dethiefsen from Bayonne, New Jersey. .
